Get Involved Our management team consists of a volunteer board of directors who work with the city of Waterloo and various corporate sponsors and service clubs to organize yearly planting events in the spring and fall. 10,000 Trees Project Inc. provides a variety of services to the community including the scheduling and coordination of planting events along with a venue for corporations and service clubs to direct their environmental donations. We actively recruit volunteers for our community service opportunities; planting trees, cleaning sites and assisting interested people of all ages to contribute to the community's overall well being.

High School Volunteer Hours Each high school student in Ontario requires 40 volunteer hours before graduation. The 10,000 Trees Project gives participants documented and written credits for all time served planting trees throughout our community. What better way to accumulate the necessary hours than by planting trees to beautify our community and enhance our air quality! To get your volunteer hours, check in with the 10,000 Tree Volunteer Coordinator upon your arrival at the next tree planting.
